Job Description
Location: Decatur, Alabama
Schedule: 10 hour work days (5X)
Duration: 6/7 months (at one location with the potential to transfer afterwards)
Tasks:
- Determine and define project scope and objectives
- Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner
- Prepare budget based on scope of work and resource requirements
- Hire personnel required to meet the expectations of the project Track project costs in order to meet budget
- Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan
- Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress
- Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables
- Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution
- Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed
- Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement
Qualifications:
- At least 3-5 years of experience as a Piping General Foreman in underground and above ground piping.
- 3-5 years experience in HDPE Piping.
- Experience supervising personnel in a professional manner
- Experience with managing budgets
- Experience with negotiation, typically in a business or legal context
- Experience related to planning project scope, schedule or budget

- Ability to organize workload, processes, or physical objects and spaces
- Ability to provide direction to individuals in a construction environment
- Excellent analytical skills; proven ability to solve problems creatively
- Skilled in managing time in order to complete tasks quickly and efficiently
- Quality and Safety conscious
- Skill in managing budgets and scheduling to align with cost estimations
- Skill in managing disputes among individuals in many facets of the project
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to walk, climb stairs, sit and stand, use hands and fingers,grip handle or reel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
- Must be able to talk and hear at normal levels
- Must be able to see with close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, see with depth perception and have the ability to adjust focus.
- Must be able to tolerate noisy and dirty environments
- Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds
