Form of workPOSITION SUMMARYThe Pipe Fitter/Millwright position is responsible for the removal and installation of industrial machinery and equipment. This is a permanent and full-time position located in Lincolnton, NC. Candidates can expect to work both out of town and locally (Hickory and the surrounding area).EBF Enterprises, Inc.

Our company installs and upgrades large machines used in industrial factories such as extruders, presses, and converting equipment.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Removal and installation of industrial machinery and equipment. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and electrical equipment. Care and maintain company tools and equipment. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Understand, practice, and enforce safe work practices.ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES Support PLC programmers during commissioning in-house and at customers' sites. Troubleshoot and solve any issues related to the equipment's electrical systems. May assist with tracking project costs, including time keeping. Additional duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS Experience in industrial pipe fitting related to production lines for air, natural gas, cooling water, machine assembly, and/or machine installation. Millwright experience preferred. Rigging experience is preferred (candidates with active rigging certification will be given additional consideration). Must be knowledgeable with standard industry hand tools, power tools, and equipment. Must be able to communicate effectively. Written communication skills. Basic tech skills (Preference for candidates with MS-Apps experience).ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS Active Driver License Background Check Required Drug Test Required Dependable transportation High School Diploma/GED (Preferred) Must be willing to travelSCHEDULE & BENEFITSSchedule: Full-TimeMonday - Friday (7 am - 5 pm). Travel is required (may involve international travel). This is a local/traveling permanent, full-time position. Must be willing to commute to the Hickory/Lincolnton/Conover/Charlotte areas on a daily basis.
