Job Description:
Safely pre-scale and mix ingredients for R&D community as needed, following established SOPs for weighing and capturing critical information.
Maintain personal and food safety and ensure a safe environment for those around you.
Create and maintain documentation (lot numbers, sanitation documentation, and amounts).
Maintain inventory and organization of Order Assembly area.
Store, log and maintain product and ingredient storage spaces.
Support other Pilot Plant services as needed.
Assure efficient operation of Pilot Plant services by fostering a cooperative and superior work climate.
Educational Requirements: High School Degree Required 3-5 years of directly relatable experience preferred
Hours: First Shift = Monday through Friday, 5:00 am - 1:00 pm This candidate may be required to work up to 4 hours of overtime before of after their assigned shift
Required to work onsite at our JFB location in Golden Valley
Skills/Experience:
Will need to perform in a highly technical, flexible, industrial environment and work comfortably in a team atmosphere that requires continuing development of new skills.
Must be a self-starter with excellent attention to detail and good oral and written communication skills.
Food processing experience desirable, but not required.
Basic understanding of food safety and human safety.
Must be able to lift and manipulate 55 pounds safely and frequently over a 9-hour period. Basic computer/technology skills (Office Suite, other computer programs)
Critical Thinking & Problem-Solving Skills
Comfortable in processing (Pilot Plant or plant) environment.
Comfortable operating equipment
Steel toe shoes required, contractor must supply. Non-prescription safety glasses and uniforms are required and are provided for by ***. If contractor wears prescription glasses, they may want to consider purchasing prescription safety glasses for comfort. Otherwise it is a requirement to wear safety glasses over prescription glasses.
