- Participate in engineering testing designed to evaluate reliability and functionality of surgical devices used on animal tissue
- Provide build support to a small group of engineers and fellow technicians engaged in product design, development, and evaluation of surgical devices
- Perform functional evaluations using proprietary test equipment.
- Participate in performing and recording basic measurements and observations during testing
- Records and enters data in spreadsheets and written reports
- Other duties as assigned
- Associates of Science degree; Bachelors preferred
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) required, comfortable learning to operate new software and testing programs
- Comfortable dealing with animal tissue
- Analytical and critical thinking skills to evaluate qualitative and quantitative results during testing
- Experience or exposure to anatomy, dissection, mechanical testing, engineering concepts is a plus
- Must be highly detail-oriented and customer-focused
- Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbal
- Ability to work with Client with shifting deadlines and priorities
- Ability to multi-task in a regulated, fast-paced environment
