Picker/Packer

PURPOSE:
Responsible to carry out daily tasks in compliance with SOPs while contributing to the efficiency of daily duties. Duties include but not limited to:

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Carry out various warehouse and logistics operations duties such as:

• Shipping, receiving, material handling and inventory control tasks in support of the team’s daily activities.
• Primary focus is on preparing items for shipping
• Ensuring facility is clean and maintained throughout your shift
• Ability to read and understand the company SOPs
• Understanding of all warehouse accounts
• Reporting any problems to your direct supervisor to allow for a safe and healthy work environment
• Ensure the practice of Health and Safety on a daily basis
• Staff will be cross-trained, flexible and able to move around within the team as demands and priorities change.
• Show professionalism everyday towards all departments, staff, carriers, customers, and drivers.
• Attitude is expected to be positive, motivated, and focused always.

QUALIFICATIONS/ EXPERIENCE

Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

• 2+ years of warehouse experience
• Relevant experience working in a warehouse environment is preferred

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

LANGUAGE: English

COMPUTER: Microsoft Office Software, WMS, knowledge of RF scanner

• Ability to independently handle multiple tasks.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
• Excellent interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
