We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Pick and Pack Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the order fulfillment process by accurately picking, packing, and shipping products in a timely manner. As a Pick and Pack Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, ensuring order completeness, and contributing to a smooth workflow within the warehouse.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Accurately pick products using handheld scanners or pick sheets.
- Assemble and pack products securely following established guidelines.
- Conduct visual inspections to ensure product quality and report any issues.
- Verify the accuracy of picked items against order details.
- Update inventory records in real-time and assist in cycle counts.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
- Monitor and replenish packaging materials as needed.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and report any safety concerns promptly.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement in pick and pack operations.
- Prepare packages for shipment, including labeling and coordinating with carriers.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adapt to changes in workload and assist in other warehouse tasks as needed.
Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience in a warehouse or similar environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items as needed.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts) is a plus.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management systems.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures in a warehouse setting is a plus.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Production, assembly or warehouse experience
