Pick, Pack, Ship, Receive (Must complete assessment test for Interview)

Job Description

We are a rapidly growing 3PL and electronics repair company in Atlanta, GA with an immediate need for a Shipping and Receiving Clerk. This individual will manage diverse tasks including data entry, expediting orders, unloading trucks, picking/ packing/ shipping orders, processing returns, preparing inventory receipts and supporting customer needs.

Job Responsibilities:

· Prepares shipments, packing slips, bills-of-lading.

· Ships small parcels and palletized freight using automated shipping programs (FedEx and UPS).

· Schedules pickups of outbound containers with carriers.

· Receives packages and properly routes received goods.

· Completes shipping and receiving transactions in MRP / Inventory Management system.

· Unloads trucks and stores materials.

· Maintains accurate records of items shipped and received.

· Communicates incoming and outgoing status to appropriate internal and external customers.

· Resolves and / or escalates issues with shipments and receipts.

· Performs inventory cycle counts.

· Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

· Experience with shipping and receiving using MRP systems such as Oracle, JD Edwards, SAP or similar.

· Warehouse pick/ pack / shipping / receiving experience.

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

· Good communication, interpersonal skills, organizational skills.

· Must be able to frequently lift 50 lbs. and occasionally lift up to 100 lbs..

· Reliable work ethic.

· Licensed fork lift operator. (Optional)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
