Job Description
Under supervision of the Center Manager, Physician and Quality Assurance Supervisor in compliance with the Care Plasma Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and State/Federal regulations, employee has to ensure donor suitability and donor safety and product integrity.
- Provide quality customer service by responding to donor needs and expectations in a professional and efficient manner.
- Maintain certification and annual recertification requirements of the Care Plasma Training program.
- Knowledgeable of state and Federal regulations, FDA approved SOP’s, EMEA, OSHA, CLIA, DOH, cGMP and all internal Care Plasma Policies.
- Maintain all permanent donor files and records in an organized and efficient manner.
- Attend all staff meetings and training sessions.
- Perform all duties and responsibilities of Physician Substitute.
- Approval of suitable plasmapheresis donors by taking medical history and performing physical examination on all donors in compliance with Care Plasma Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), current state and federal guidelines.
- Timely review of accumulated donor testing data to determine a donor’s continued suitability for plasmapheresis.
- Provide appropriate medical treatment for donation adverse reactions.
- Provide confidential and informative counseling to disqualified donors.
- Assist with management and administration of testing and follow up of employee exposures.
- Communicate and submit timely reports as required by the Center Management and Physician.
- Support Center Management in achieving quality and operational goals.
- Administer all immunizations in compliance with established protocol.
- Ensure concurrent, legible and accurate documentation.
- Report all unsafe situations to the Supervisor immediately.
- Perform other job-related duties, as assigned.
