Marketing Specialist – Physician Practice Liaison
This role is responsible for building and executing our marketing and communications strategy. Part of the Clinic Management Group, the position holder works directly with senior management to develop marketing strategies and actions for our services and internal communications. The major responsibility is to increase the practices billable revenue by broadening the base of referring physicians, satellites and affiliate practices and promoting name awareness/utilization among the general consumer population through the development of relationships with OB/GYNs, payer groups & direct-to-consumer outreach to raise the profile of our center as the preferred provider of fertility treatment in the Southeast U.S.
The position is relationship and serviced-based and is the critical communication link between our practice and the referring physician and prospective patient communities. It requires an experienced and enthusiastic Marketing Specialist who is well-versed in medical practice marketing concepts, principles, and tactics.
Responsibilities
- Manage relationships with the physician referral community.
- Monitor competitive activity and refine marketing messaging as appropriate.
- Solicit, track, and manage referral sources to help shape future marketing strategies. Ensure issues are addressed by the management team in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with our marketing team to develop and execute local marketing strategy & budget, including patient and referring physician outreach.
- Visit practices and organize virtual events. Liaise with external vendors to execute promotional events and campaigns.
- Undertake individual tasks of a marketing plan as assigned.
Skills
- Proven experience as a Marketing Specialist or similar role
- Thorough understanding of marketing elements (including traditional and digital marketing such as SEO/Social media etc.) and market research methods
- Demonstrable experience in marketing data analytics and tools
- Solid computer skills, including MS Office, marketing software (Adobe Creative Suite and CRM) and applications (Web analytics, Google Adwords etc.)
- Well-organized and detail oriented
- Exceptional communication and writing skills
- Commercial awareness partnered with a creative mind
- Minimum 2 years of marketing experience preferably in women's health (reproductive medicine/ObGyn).

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
College Degree B/A in Business, Marketing, Health Care or Liberal Arts & Sciences
Minimum 2 years of experience in outside medical/intangible service sales with proven track record of results
Women's Health experience and/or infertility preferred
Familiarity with local health care marketplace and community
PowerPoint skills useful
