Form of workWest Virginia University Medicine and the Department of Neurosurgery seek a Neurosurgeon (ranks available: Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor). Successful candidate will practice at Berkeley Medical Center in Martinsburg, WV.
The successful candidate will practice in the area of neurosurgery. In addition to providing excellent patient care, the successful candidate will also be actively involved in teaching medical students and residents.
Successful candidates must have an MD or DO degree (the employer accepts foreign educational equivalent) and be eligible for state medical licensure. Candidates must have completed a neurosurgery residency program and be board certified/board eligible in neurosurgery. All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.
The WVU Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute guides a team of 170 dedicated faculty in providing compassionate patient care and advanced medicine through education, research, and outreach in the many diverse communities we serve. The Institute spearheads efforts to develop innovative solutions for neurological and psychiatric conditions ranging from Alzheimer's to Parkinson's; autism to stroke; and paralysis to chronic pain, addictions, and traumatic brain injury.
