About the Opportunity: Schedule: Monday to Friday Hours: Standard business Call: None Specialty: Family Medicine Patient Population: All ages Responsibilities: The Family / Internal Medicine will be responsible for: Diagnosing and treating a variety of medical conditions and illnesses Emphasizing preventive medicine and working with patients to promote healthy lifestyles Monitoring patients' progress, adjusting medications, and providing education on self-management Treating acute illnesses and injuries, such as respiratory infections, minor injuries, and skin conditions Conducting routine health check-ups and wellness exams to monitor patients' overall health and identify any potential health issues before they become serious Performing minor surgical procedures in the office, such as suturing wounds, removing moles or skin lesions, and draining abscesses Maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records for their patients, including medical history, treatment plans, and test results Qualifications: Licensed to practice Medicine in the State of New York Board Eligible / Certified in Family and/or Internal Medicine Basic Life Support certification Infection Control certification Experience and/or interest in a Community-based setting Comfortable with Electronic Medical Records (EMRs) Desired Skills: Bilingual (English and Spanish)
