Job Title:Internal Medicine Physician
Location: Queens, NY
Horizon Healthcare Staffing is searching for an Internal Medicine Physician for one of our clients located in Queens, NY. Our client is a leading healthcare facility that serves a large, non-profit, self-funded union/multi-employer benefit plan in Queens, NY. They handle around 50,000 visits yearly for a variety of services.
We are seeking a highly skilled Internal Medicine Physician to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will provide the highest quality care to patients and will be committed to building strong doctor-patient relationships.
Schedule: 40-hour week with some Saturday. 40 clinical hours seeing patients, ample administrative hours built in included for routine documentation and follow-up calls.
Hours: 7:00AM-7:00PM Monday-Friday, and 8:00AM-3:00PM Saturdays, Closed Sunday. Physicians share coverage of later hours as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Providing primary care to patients in the outpatient setting
- Building strong doctor-patient relationships
- Participating in our client's unique Cardio Prevention Program
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide the best possible care to patients
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records
- Participating in continuing medical education activities
- Working some Saturdays
Qualifications:
- Current ABIM certification in Internal Medicine
- NYS Medical License Registration
- Current D.E.A. Registration
- Demonstrated dedication to patient care, preferably with an academic background
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Compensation and Benefits:
- Annual Compensation: $234,279.20 (base $220,000 per year plus weekly FICA Reimbursement)
