Form of workWakeMed Physician Practices is a multi-specialty group with over 450 physicians in a variety of specialty areas. We are currently seeking a Physician with an interest and fellowship training in Critical Care/Pulmonology to join our group in Raleigh, NC.
Our team currently consists of 20 physicians and 18 APP's. Our physicians provide inpatient critical care at WakeMed as well as inpatient pulmonology services and eICU coverage. Typical procedures include bronchoscopy, central lines, intubation, thoracentesis among others.
Typical full-time schedule is approximately 16 in-house shifts per month. Nightshifts are supported with eICU cross-coverage and assistance. Fantastic opportunity for those who have an interest in clinical teaching as our physicians also supervise second-year ED residents who rotate through our ICUs.
