Job Title: Physician - Family Medicine
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Physician specializing in Family Medicine to join our esteemed medical team. As a Family Medicine Physician, you will provide comprehensive medical care to patients of all ages. Your primary role will involve diagnosing, treating, and managing a wide range of acute and chronic illnesses. You will play a pivotal role in promoting preventive care and maintaining the overall health and well-being of our patients and their families.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' medical histories and perform physical examinations
- Diagnose, treat, and manage a variety of acute and chronic medical conditions
- Prescribe medication and develop personalized treatment plans
- Administer immunizations and vaccinations
- Perform minor surgical procedures as needed
- Provide counseling on health promotion, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using electronic medical records (EMR) system
- Educate patients and families on healthcare topics and preventative measures
- Stay updated with the latest medical research, best practices, and advancements in Family Medicine
- Attend conferences and seminars to enhance professional knowledge and skills
Qualifications and Skills:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited medical school
- Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine
- Valid state medical license without restrictions
- Proven experience in diagnosing and managing a wide range of acute and chronic conditions
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to primary care
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Proficient in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-based healthcare environment
