Job Description:
Orthopedic Surgery Advanced Practitioner - Brighton, CO (Ortho Surgery)
Your day.
As a Physician Assistant in Orthopedic Surgery, you'll work with 4 Surgeons to provide top-notch care and patient experience. Throughout the day you'll collaborate with 2 other Advanced Practitioners.

• You would practice at Platte Valley Medical Center in Brighton, CO and then approximately 1 day per week at our Amber Creek clinic in Thornton, CO
• Your hours will be Mon-Fri 8am-5pm plus call
• This position will primarily support Ortho/Sports Medicine surgeons with cross coverage to all sub-specialty ortho
• You'll be on call approximately 1 night per week and every 4th weekend
• This is a very busy, high-volume practice
• Intermountain Health will have a new Medical Office Building located at the I-70 and 470 interchange and this position may rotate or move to that new location (TBD)

In this line of work every day is different, that's why you'll need to know how to:

• Act as surgical first assist in the OR
• Provide ortho consults in the Emergency Department as needed
• Handle casting and splinting
• Provide new patient consults in the clinic as needed

Your experience.
We hire people, not words on paper. But we also expect excellence, which is why we require:

• Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner degree from a fully accredited program
• Unrestricted license in the state of Colorado or able to obtain
• BLS, DEA, and full prescriptive authority
• Minimum 1 years of experience as an NP or PA in orthopedics
• Surgical first assist experience highly desired

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
$43.16 - $79.15
