Highly regarded oncology team in Northern California is seeking a nurse practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their growing practice!
Ideal candidates will have a background in medical oncology, however the practice is also very willing to train candidates who are specifically interested in oncology and who have ties to the Northern California area. Responsibilities:
- Full-time permanent position - Medical Oncology
- Flexible schedule - 4 or 5 days per week
- Weekdays only (no weekends)
- Provide hematology & medical oncology specialty patient care in inpatient and outpatient care settings
- Create patient care plans and contribute to existing plans
- Order, administer and analyze diagnostic tests
- Administer medicines and treatments, including chemotherapy treatments
- Consult with healthcare professionals, participate in tumor boards
Qualifications:
- Experience in oncology (preferred) or other relevant fields
- Able to obtain California Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant License
- Able to obtain DEA license
- EMR proficient
