Highly successful radiology practice in the New York City area is seeking a Physician Assistant or nurse practitioner to join their growing team!
Ideal candidates will have a background working in radiology, specifically as a radiologic technologist prior to becoming a Physician Assistant or nurse practitioner. Responsibilities:
- Full-time permanent position - Interventional Radiology
- 4 days per week (weekdays only)
- No nights and no weekends
- Collaborate with a strong team board-certified radiologists
- Perform procedures such as PRP injections, therapeutic joint injections & arthrograms, lumbar punctures & myelograms,
hysterosalpingograms/hysterosonograms, barium GI studies, and thyroid biopsies - Educate patients on procedures and the risks & benefits, and discuss possible treatment plans
- Administer contrast agents and monitor patients during and after their study
Qualifications:
- New York Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner License
- ARRT Certified
- BLS/ACLS Certified
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Proficient with EMR systems
