Join our nationally recognized team of imaging specialists as we seek to hire a full-time faculty member (Abdominal Imaging), under new leadership and new direction and vision for our expanding enterprise.
The Department of Diagnostic Radiology at City of Hope National Medical Center is seeking an experienced diagnostic radiologist (Abdominal Imaging) to join our new cancer center located in Duarte, California.
This position is a rare opportunity to work in a 370 member integrated, multidisciplinary Medical Group Practice serving an NCI designated comprehensive cancer center in highly desirable Southern California. City of Hope is an expanding institution in both numbers of patients per year as well as infrastructure investment in clinical, academic and research facilities.
Position Highlights:
- Full-time hours working within an established team of radiologists and nurses at a world-renowned national cancer system.
- Primarily clinical position with extensive opportunities for research & collaboration
- Newly opened multilevel outpatient imaging center with PET/MR, PET/CT, Dual energy CT, multiple 1.5 and 3 Tesla MRI units, and US; state of the art equipment is present at all sites!

- Potential for incentive compensation and an excellent benefits package, including a generous retirement contribution plan.
- Base Salary Range: $400K - 500K based on rank, experience, and academic research. The range listed is exclusively for base compensation for full-time employment and does not include incentive compensation or benefits which are substantial. Actual compensation will also be adjusted for experience, training, hospital/community need and other factors.

Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience as a diagnostic radiologist preferred
- Experienced with plain films, fluoroscopy, CT, MR, and PET/CT
- Experience working in an academic medical center or specialty cancer center, is highly desirable
- Academic record consistent with appointment as Assistant or early career Associate Professor, preferred
- The ideal candidate will participate in clinical research
- Applicants must have an M.D. or equivalent degree
- Have or be willing and eligible to obtain U.S. NRC (United States Nuclear Regulatory Commission) license
- The selected candidate for the position must be eligible to obtain or already hold an active California medical license
