POSITION OVERVIEW:
Assists therapists with specific Physical Therapy treatment programs for patients. Receives direction from: Physical Therapists.
EDUCATION:
- Graduate of a Physical Therapy Assistants Program, required.
LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS:
- Valid driver's license when driving any vehicle for work-related reasons, required.
- State license as a Physical Therapist Assistant, required.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Knowledge of the principles, practices, standards, and techniques of Physical Therapy, required.
- Knowledge of how to use and maintain equipment, required.
- Knowledge of safety requirements, required.
- Strong communication and math skills, required.
- Keyboarding and computer skills, required.
- Able to identify and recommend problem resolution, required.
