ResponsibilitiesConduct medically prescribed Physical Therapy under the supervision of a physical therapist.
- Provide Physical Therapy interventions under a plan of care written by a physical therapist.
- Perform therapy interventions utilizing techniques and skills as appropriate for the patient population.
- Document treatment interventions given.
- May coordinate activities of Physical Therapy aides, students and other support personnel.
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Rehab Therapist specializing in Physical Therapy Asst credentialed from the Michigan Board of Physical Therapy obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Education:
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
1-2 years experience in outpatient Physical Therapy preferred.
Must be able to work in multiple areas, ortho, neuro and aquatic therapy.
