Our idealPTA:
- Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant
- Minimum of one year experience preferred, recent graduates are also welcomed.
- Adaptable and flexible with a desire to growprofessionally and advance therapy skills.
- Interest in treating orthopedic conditions across the patient's life span.
Position duties andresponsibilities:
- Treat patients as a physical therapist assistant within the full scope of the PTA license.
- The potential to manage and treat your own caseload.
- Attain ASTYM certification.
- Attain orthopedic and geriatric advanced training.
Work Hour Requirements:
Monday - Thursday 8:00 AM- 5:00PM, Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30PM
*Sign On Bonus $2,500
*Salary Range: New Grads $50K

Responsibilities
- Demonstrate comprehensive clinical knowledge and acceptable performance in all aspects of the patient/client encounter.
- Comply with all regulatory guidance including but not limited to HIPAA, Medicare rules and billing and coding guidance.
- Communicate effectively with patients/clients, the public and all members of the healthcare team.
- Astym training for PTAs
- PTAs will carry individual caseload with PT supervision
- Physical Therapist Assistant license or the ability to obtain a Louisiana Physical Therapist Assistant license
- Physical Therapist Assistant degree
- Minimum of one year of experience preferred, recent graduates and experienced Physical Therapist Assistants strongly encouraged to apply.
- CPR preferred.
