Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy Aide to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care and hospital settings, with a commitment to providing exceptional support to our Physical Therapy team and patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist physical therapists and physical therapist assistants in the treatment of patients.
• Prepare treatment areas and equipment for therapy sessions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the therapy area and equipment.
• Comply with all hospital policies and procedures, including those related to infection control and patient privacy.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a hospital setting is preferred.
• Experience in patient care is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Physical ability to assist with patient transfers and equipment handling.
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology and Physical Therapy principles is preferred.
