JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Physical Therapy Aide, you will be responsible for the following job duties and responsibilities:
- Assist with patient related physical, occupational, and speech therapy tasks and duties under the on-site supervision of the therapist following therapy association guidelines.
- Performs assigned clerical duties: filing, copying, mailing, scheduling, equipment ordering, etc., timely prepare and process charts and assist with maintenance of department records as directed.
- Prepares, maintains, and cleans department/treatment areas in compliance with safety and infection control standards.
- Assists with non-patient-related tasks in clinic area i.e. tracking wheelchairs, tracking transfer belts, maintain storeroom orderliness.
- Assist with leisure activities for patients.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
FTE: 1.0; 40 hours per week
Work Schedule: 8am-430pm; Monday-Friday
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED Completion
- Nursing facility or TCU work experience preferred.

Benefits:
Benefits are available for non-union staff working 24 hours (0.6 FTE) or union staff working 32 hours (0.8 FTE) per week and are effective the first of the month after 30 days of employment.
