Second Wave Physical Therapy was founded by an alliance of locally tenured therapists and patient coordinators with a mission to return unparalleled care and customer service to Ventura County. Our patient-over-profit approach is made possible by staying true to our community roots and providing high-quality, individualized care. We have a low therapist-to-patient ratio with 30-60-minute treatment sessions. Professional development is encouraged through continuing education allowance. Mentorship is available for new graduates.

Job duties include:

• Evaluation and treatment of orthopedic and some neurological conditions
• Communication with referring provider as necessary
• Caseload: 1-2 patients per hour
• 60 minute evaluations, 30 minute follow-ups
• Develop a customized plan for each patient
• Provide discharge report at completion of care
• Strong manual therapy skills or desire to learn
• Delegation to technicians when appropriate
• Supervision of PTA
• EMR computer documentation

Qualifications:

• Physical Therapy License (Required)
• CPR Certification (Required)
• Friendly, caring demeanor
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Bilingual preferred but not required

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Port Hueneme 93041: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $84,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
