Physical Therapist Technician

Compensation Range: $16.21 - $23.12 / hour

We have 13 pay increments on our clinical pay scales to compensate staff for 30 years of relevant experience. 

On the job training available.

Shift Information: weekdays

This position will be traveling between the Quincy and/or Greenville Therapy Offices. 

Serves to assist in providing age-appropriate services for adolscent, adult and geriatric patients, under appropriate licensed supervision, to individuals, evaluation and selection of adaptive equipment, partiicipatin in quality improvement programs, and documentation of services according to hospital and departmnet standards. Provides administrative support as needed. Responsible for cleaning therapy treatment areas and equipemnt, Maintain appropriate levels of supplies.

Preferred Education:High school diploma or GED

Experience:  two or more years' experience in a patient care setting as a technician, certified nursing assistant, or a restorative nursing aide.

Other Requirements: Ability to establish priorities , ability to recognize physical or behavioral changes in patient during course of treatment, ability to use, inspect, and maintain clinical equipment, knowledge of purpose, expected outcome, and safety factors involved in the care provided, knowledge of infection control practices, knowledge of and use of all office equipment, and knowledge of medical terminology and some medical pathology.
