Physical Therapist (Pt) Outpatient Orthopedics

We're looking for a Doctor of Physical Therapy to join this outpatient orthopedic physical therapy practice in downtown Walnut Creek.

Our treatment sessions are one-on-one with the Physical Therapist, 45 minutes each session. Our goal is personalized care. We utilize manual therapy, and design exercise programs based on the patient's specific goals and impairments. No one-size-fits-all treatments here!

We see patients off all ages, typically ranging from 14-80. Many of our patients are weekend warriors- runners, cyclists, and tennis players. We have a mix of patients including insurance, Medicare, and cash.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Walnut Creek, CA for a Physical Therapist at Go Beyond Physical Therapy. The Physical Therapist will be responsible for assessing and treating patients with musculoskeletal, neurological, and sports injuries, developing treatment plans, and working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active California Physical Therapy License
• Graduate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
• Demonstrated expertise in musculoskeletal, orthopedic, and sports physical therapy
• Ability to create and implement individualized treatment plans
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong critical thinking skills and ability to adapt to changing situations
• Ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide patient-centered care
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) is a plus

About the Physical Therapist position

Common treatments our new Physical Therapist will need familiarity working with include manual therapy and therapeutic exercise. We utilize a variety of techniques including:

• Active Release Technique
• Graston
• Myofascial release
• TRX, kettlebells
• Class IV deep tissue laser
• Kinesiotaping
• Cupping
