Job Description
We seek a skilled Physical Therapist focusing on Pelvic Floor therapy to join a leading healthcare team.
This position involves comprehensive patient assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing direct patient care focusing on neuromuscular and skeletal functions.
The ideal candidate will have completed introductory coursework in Pelvic Floor therapy and possess relevant experience, including clinical rotations.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Conduct thorough evaluations of patients and develop effective treatment plans.
- Provide high-quality direct patient care.
- Document patient progress and guide patients and caregivers.
- Collaborate with senior Physical Therapists in program development.
- Offer training and mentorship to students, interns, and staff.
- Manage care provided by assistants and rehabilitation technicians.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
- Experience in direct patient care with a focus on Pelvic Floor therapy.
- Ability to push/lift weights of 75 to 100 pounds and carry up to 30 pounds.
- Proficiency in documentation and time management.
- Commitment to professional development and adherence to organizational policies and procedures.
- Bachelor's or graduate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program. Doctoral degrees are preferred for direct-access practitioners.
- Valid Texas Physical Therapy license or eligibility. Basic Life Support certification. Completion of Introductory Pelvic Floor coursework is highly recommended.
