Agile Occupational Medicine is looking for a Physical Therapist for our Hollister, CA clinic located in the Central Coast region of California
This position will see a variety of orthopedic conditions including acute work-related injuries, pre, and post-surgical injuries and conditions, and workplace wellness and injury prevention. Job Description
As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for providing direct clinical care to patients following the supervising Physical Therapist’s plan of care. You will support Physical Therapists and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization, and communication. The target is to complete all activities accurately, with high quality, and in a timely manner.
Specialties: Orthopedics, sports medicine, manual therapy, ergonomics, injury prevention.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8-hour shift. Day shift- flexible to meet patient and clinic needs.
Requirements:- Must be a graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Program.
- Must have current California PT License.
- Outpatient experience is preferred but we are willing to train the right candidate. New graduates are welcome to apply.
Job Duties
- Assesses the therapeutic and rehabilitative status of the patient and develops an appropriate treatment plan.
- Updates and modifies the treatment plan on an ongoing basis.
- Uses clinical reasoning in treating and planning, implementing, and monitoring patient progress.
- Instruct and counsel patients effectively in exercises, home programs, and patient education.
- Maintain open communication with the patient, supervising therapist, and referring physician (when applicable) regarding the patient's plan of care and progress.
- Complete timely and accurate documentation.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
- Knowledge of physical therapy office management systems and procedures.
- Social perceptiveness and service-oriented.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and patient management software.
