Sheltering Arms Institute is seeking a Physical Therapist Floatto join our outpatient team. This position provides coverage at our outpatient centers and treats primarily concussion and orthopedic conditions. The Physical Therapist provides quality, comprehensive, patient-centered physical therapy services including patient examination, development and administration of a treatment plan, documentation and communication with team members, and clinical direction and supervision to licensed/non-licensed personnel. Instructs therapy support staff, students, other team members, and patient and/or caregivers.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Experience/expertise in outpatient rehabilitation preferred.

Education/Certifications
  • Graduate of an accredited physical therapy educational program required.
  • Virginia licensure to practice or eligibility and application for licensure by the Physical Therapy Board of the Virginia State Board of Health Professions required.
  • Healthcare professionals CPR certification required.
  • Doctoral degree from an accredited physical therapy programs and/or specialty practice certification preferred.
