Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team. As a Physical Therapist, you will work with patients to help them regain movement and manage pain following an injury or illness. Your expertise in pediatrics, acute care, and patient care will be crucial in providing high-quality care to our patients.
Duties:
- Evaluate patients' medical history and perform physical examinations to determine their condition and needs
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on patients' goals, medical history, and physical abilities
- Provide hands-on therapy techniques such as trigger point therapy, manual therapy, and therapeutic exercises
- Educate patients and their families on exercises, techniques, and strategies for managing pain and improving mobility
- Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Valid state license or certification as a Physical Therapist
- Experience in pediatrics and acute care settings is preferred
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology
- Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
