We are looking for a motivated Physical Therapist to join our practice full time in Baxter, MN. We are seeking a PT who enjoys providing high-quality comprehensive patient care to join our team in the beautiful Brainerd Lakes Area with plenty of shopping and outdoor activities year-round. We are looking for a compassionate, yet driven PT to work closely with our orthopedic department, helping patients improve their functioning and mobility and improve their quality of life! Our patient base includes those suffering from back pain and injuries, as well as acute and chronic joint pain and conditions.

We have a well-respected and knowledgeable team of physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, Physical Therapists, CMA's and support staff. We strive to provide high-quality comprehensive patient care. We have a wonderful support staff that is cheerful, compassionate, and capable.

 Duties:

• Patient Consultation-review health and medical histories, exam patients, review pertinent medical records/imaging, and reason for visit

·         Consult with referring Physicians/Healthcare team regarding diagnosis as needed

·         Develop and implement physical therapy treatment programs based on each patient's particular needs

·         Assist patients with all phases of physical therapy treatment and techniques to include exercise instruction, modern modalities, and activities of daily living

·         Compose discharge notes for patients, refer to appropriate outside sources, as necessary

·         Patient education on the benefits of PT, treatment plan maintenance, and home exercises

·         Documentation/progress notes- accurate and timely records, document treatments rendered in patient charts, Record patient conditions and responses to treatments in charts after each visit

·         Collaboration with the orthopedic dept. and other healthcare professionals for comprehensive patient care

·         Communicate effectively with both the staff and patients

• Create an excellent experience for patients through a friendly and focused attitude

Requirements:

• Graduation from an Accredited Physical Therapy Program
• PT License in MN

Schedule:

• Full time

Compensation:

• $100-$110k per year (DOE) (Base salary plus bonus)
