How You Can Help
We are hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to work with the residents of a senior living community that offers skilled nursing care (SNF). Therapy services for these residents are covered by private insurance and/or Medicare Part A.
The Impact You Can Make
As a PTA, you will be responsible for providing, under the direction of a Physical Therapist, therapeutic interventions in an interdisciplinary environment consistent with the position's qualifications, professional practices, and ethical standards. You will also contribute to program development, quality improvement, and problem-solving in accordance with company-wide policies and clinical initiatives, to optimize each patient’s functional well-being and satisfaction.
What You’ll Need
- Completion of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program (New Grads Welcome)
- Current PTA state licensure
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- A results-oriented mindset with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- A tech-savvy skillset with the ability to learn quickly
- A sense of professional curiosity, with a desire to learn new things, and to find/recommend solutions to problems
