Job Description
- PTA will provide direct physical therapy according to directions of Physical Therapist and in accordance with the Physician's plan of care
- Treat patients to relieve pain, develop or restore function, and maintain maximum performance
- Direct and aid patients in active and passive therapeutic exercises, muscle re-education, gait and functional training, transfer activities and prosthetic training
- Utilize physical agents, including, but not be limited to heat, cold, water, light, electricity, ultrasound, and massage
- Physical Therapist Assistant will observe and report to the Physical Therapist and the Organization personnel the patient's reaction to treatment and any changes in patient's condition
- Instruct patients in care and use of wheelchairs, braces, crutches, canes, and prosthetic or orthotic devices
- Online Charting in Kinnser immediately after visit on a provided device
- Perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Current (PTA) Physical Therapy Assistant License to practice in California
- Current CA Driver's License (with clean driving record) and Valid Automobile Insurance
- You are able to travel within a 15 to 25-mile radius on a regular basis
- Priority to candidates with Availability Saturday-Monday or Wednesday-Sunday

Fairness in pay, patient visiting clinicians are NOT EXEMPT FROM OVERTIME which means in the event you work late, take on an extra shift or extra visit, you will be paid fairly in accordance with California Overtime Guidelines.
Bonuses based on quality metrics NOT on how many patients you see.
