Physical Therapy Aides serve as support to personnel under the direct on- premises supervision of the Physical Therapist. Aides perform designated task related to the management of the patient and the operation of the Physical Therapy department. Responsibilities include patient transport, preparation and cleaning of treatment areas, clerical tasks, handling of topical medications, and general assistance to patients, Physical Therapists, and Physical Therapists assistants. Aides may assist pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients with a variety of diagnoses and disabilities.

Minimum Education Requirement :

High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

Minimum Experience Requirement :

On-the-job training. Excellent customer service skills required.

Minimum License Requirement :

BLS required.

M-F 7:30-4:00pm, may include weekend shifts as assigned. Responsibilities include clinic maintenance, clinician support both clinically and administratively, and other duties as assigned which may include program auditing supporting the program coordinator role.
