Physical Therapist

Great Opportunity for a passionate Physical Therapist in the Farmington, CT area!!

Shift: M/W/F 8am-4:30pm and T/Th 9am-5:30pm. No Weekends, No Call

13 Week Assignment - 40 hours per week

Duties
- Evaluate and assess patients' physical conditions and develop individualized treatment plans
- Administer therapeutic exercises and modalities to improve patients' strength, flexibility, and mobility
- Provide manual therapy techniques such as trigger point therapy to relieve pain and improve range of motion
- Educate patients and their families on proper techniques for exercises and activities to promote recovery and prevent further injury
- Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care

Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist in a hospital or clinical setting
- Proficient in medical terminology and documentation practices
- Experience working with pediatric patients is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics
- Familiarity with acute care settings and the ability to handle complex medical cases

Qualifications:
- Must have at least 1 year of Neuro exp. BLS, Connecticut PT License
- Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
