About our Exciting Career Opportunity

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Physical Security Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will oversee the safety and security of our physical premises, assets, and personnel. This individual will play a critical role in developing, implementing, and managing security protocols to mitigate risks and safeguard the organization's resources. In addition to managing security related tickets, security systems, footage, alarms, access control, keys, and vaults.

The Physical Security Specialist role is a hybrid position that will be based in either our Greenbelt or Germantown location.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma and 3 or more years of experience, to include Information and Physical Security experience and 2 years' experience in performing risk assessment/IT audits.
• Experience in various Physical Security Systems (CCTV, Access Control, and Alarm Systems)
• Experience with Critical Facility-Data Center security operations and procedures
• Knowledge of common information security and Physical Security management frameworks
• Knowledgeable in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, or equivalent software front end control packages
• Attend applicable training to remain current with Physical Security requirements and best practices.
• Strong oral and written communication skills are needed.
• Strong analytical skills to analyze security requirements and relate them to proper security controls.
• Strong business acumen and project management capability, to manage multiple small projects.
• Risk management and controls development experience
• Must have flexibility to work extended hours and to travel periodically, which may include weekends and evenings.
• Valid Drivers License
