We are seeking a new Physical orOccupational Therapy Assistant for Industrial Setting to join our team. Your role will be to As an Injury Prevention Specialist (IPS), You will work directly with employees, site leadership and safety and medical services to educate, coach and provide hands-on services to help prevent injuries and reduce symptoms associated with work or personal activities.. You will report to our Regional Operation Manager. What You Will Do: provide training to new employees conduct baseline flexibility measurements provide direct services to employees for symptom education relief and exercises that can be used at home and work conduct ergonomic assessments conduct body mechanics coaching on the production floor with employees conduct job conditioning classes participate in site meetings and presentations What You Will Bring: Our ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of relevant experience and the following credentials/skills: Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant Certified Athletic Trainer Why You'll Love Us: GSC On-Site Services is a national company that offers injury prevention services that include a Job Analysis+ Program that results in documentation to be used to avoid hiring the “hidden walking wounded”, provides a physician’s summary report with a summary of physical demands to create timely return to work, and inexpensive ergonomic solutions.
