Job Description

Job Description: Physical Therapist (Contractor)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Physical Therapist to join our team in a contractor capacity. We are seeking two male candidates. As a Physical Therapist, you will provide specialized rehabilitative care to clients in need of physical therapy services. We use physical activity as a form of therapy for our clients. You will travel to and from client locations, assessing their conditions, developing personalized treatment plans, and delivering therapeutic interventions. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on individuals' lives while enjoying the flexibility of a contractor position.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' physical conditions, including evaluation of strength, range of motion, flexibility, balance, and functional abilities.

2. Collaborate with clients to establish realistic and measurable goals for their physical therapy treatment plans.

3. Develop customized treatment plans using evidence-based practices to address clients' specific needs and promote optimal recovery.

4. Administer a variety of therapeutic interventions, such as therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and other modalities.

5. Educate clients and their families on proper techniques for exercises, activities of daily living, and injury prevention strategies.

6. Monitor clients' progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and document all assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely.

7. Provide recommendations for adaptive equipment, assistive devices, or home modifications to enhance clients' independence and safety.

8. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, occupational therapists, and nurses, to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for clients.

9. Maintain a professional and compassionate demeanor, demonstrating empathy and respect for clients' cultural, social, and emotional needs.

10. Adhere to ethical and legal standards of practice, maintaining client confidentiality and upholding professional boundaries.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.

2. Current licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist in the relevant state (if applicable).

3. Proven experience in providing physical therapy services, preferably in a clinical or outpatient setting.

4. Strong knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics, and their application to physical therapy.

5. Excellent assessment and diagnostic skills to evaluate clients' conditions accurately.

6. Proficient in developing and implementing evidence-based treatment plans.

7. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to establish rapport with clients and collaborate with healthcare professionals.

8. Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule to accommodate client appointments.

9. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for regular travel to client locations.

10. Willingness to travel within a designated geographic area and potentially work with clients from diverse backgrounds and age groups. This will also include transportation of clients to and from residence depending on age and physical health of client.

Compensation:

This is a contractor position, and the compensation range for Physical Therapists is between $65,000 and $90,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to the base compensation, travel pay will be provided to cover travel expenses incurred while visiting clients.
