PHP Laravel Back-End Developer Contractor  
Salt Lake, UT : Hybrid 
 
Estimated Contractor Contract Length: 6 Months 
 
Things You will Do: 
As a Laravel Back-End Developer you will help build apis using Laravel/Php with a dynamic team for our companies website.  You will work closely with the product manager, other backend developers, and front-end developers in a DevOps/Lean programming environment.  You will participate in architecture, planning, design, implementation, and user experience decisions.   
 
The experience we are looking for: 
•          3+ years of professional Laravel/Php experience  
•          Dependency Injection and Unit Tests (including Pest) 
•          Git 
•          Familiarity with Vue  
•          Familiarity with SQL 
•          Familiarity with HTML and CSS (including responsive frameworks like Tailwind) 
 
On a regular basis you will: 
•          Build back-end APIs in Laravel/PHP that are critical to enhancing the customer experience – work closely with front-end developers 
•          Software design and implementation, testing, and deployment 
•          Troubleshoot production issues and work effectively to identify and address problems 
•          Successfully use agile development methodologies 
•          Explain code to professionals inside and outside of the software engineering field 
•          Work independently and as part of a team 
•          Work on integrations with 3rd party systems 
•          Perform well under pressure, and problem solve individually and with a team 
•          Think outside the box
