Photographer/Videographer

Herzog Contracting, Corp. is currently seeking a versatile Photographer/Videographerin St. Joseph, MO to join our team. The Photographer/Videographer will work within the Creative Services Team, providing photography and videography services to the enterprise.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide wide range of multimedia services including construction projects, passenger rail operations, railroad maintenance, manufacturing, and other business needs.
• Edit photos and video projects.
• Develop and maintain visual asset library.
• Produce visual assets for use in multiple mediums including website, flyers, social media, and website.
• Effectively communicate and schedule shoot plans with field managers and stakeholders.
• Manage visual content for distribution to external audiences and internal communication.
• Prioritize multiple projects to meet tight deadlines.
• Regular and consistent engagement, participation and promotion of Herzog’s Culture and its essential behaviors are a requirement for this position.
• Regular and predictable attendance and punctuality are a requirement for this position.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with both capturing and editing photos and videos.
• Proven experience and knowledge of industry best practices.
• Creative thinker with a high attention to detail.
• Experience with photo journalism and ability to recognize and share stories.
• Ability to be flexible with projects in the field and in an office setting.
• Experience working within a creative services team preferred.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Experience collaborating with multiple units within an enterprise.
• Extensive travel required.

Pre-Employment Requirements:

• Subject to pre-employment background check and motor vehicle report review.

• Successfully complete and maintain any required safety certification and testing on an annual basis.
