Job Description
A large Birmingham-based medical group with multiple clinics is seeking to add a Phone Triage LPN for their corporate office. The LPN will use their medical knowledge and professionalism to assess patient medical needs over the phone.
Responsibilities:
- Assess patient medical needs
- Submit medication refills
- Provide courteous and professional service via phone
- Update patient demographics
Responsibilities:
- Excellent customer service skills
- Certification from an accredited school of practical nursing - LPN
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with phone system, office equipment, and relevant software
Note: This job does not require direct patient care and has no exposure to blood or body fluids.
