Phone Center Representative

Pasadena-based E-Central Credit Union is looking for an enthusiastic team player to join us as a Phone Center Representative. This is an on-site position working out of our corporate office.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide a range of financial services and assistance via incoming and outgoing calls: answer inquiries, process transactions, provide problem resolution and education on the benefits of Credit Union membership.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to the Credit Union’s current and prospective members with a friendly and professional approach.
• Cross-sell a variety of competitive products including loans, deposit accounts, on-line and mobile banking, plus other services, by identifying members’ financial needs and offering the right solution. Meet assigned sales goals on a monthly basis.
• Maintain complete and current knowledge of the Credit Union’s products and procedures, and regulatory/compliance issues to provide consistent and accurate assistance.

Required Skills and Experience:

• At least two (2) years’ customer service experience in a credit union or bank. Phone center experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with the range of products and services offered by financial institutions, including loans, deposits, electronic banking, etc.
• Must be a consummate customer service professional who is skilled at building rapport and genuinely enjoys helping people.
• Proven ability to identify member needs, offer the right solution, and meet required sales goals.
• Excellent phone etiquette with a helpful and friendly demeanor and strong verbal and written communication skills. Bi-lingual in Spanish is a plus.
• Strong computer literacy, able to quickly learn programs and software.

This position is eligible for incentive payments in addition to base salary.

Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour
