- Teaches evening Phlebotomy course at Hoke Center.
- Responsible for teaching theory and lab skills.
- Responsible for class paperwork.
- Visits students on clinical rotation
- Employs good customer service skills with students and contracted clinical sites
- Maintains equipment and supplies for lab skills
- Maintain records and follow state requirements for the program.
- Must be able to work flexible instruction hours as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school Diploma
- A minimum of 1 year experience as a Phlebotomist
- ASCP /ASPT certified
- Must be able to travel to clinical sites for student placement and clinical experience
Required knowledge, skills and abilities:
- Must possess excellent venipuncture skills.
- Detail and completion oriented team player.
- Computer skills in Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint and interest in advancing those skills
- Associate of Science Degree
- Experience in teaching and supervising adult learners
