Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Schedule: Monday thru Friday 6:15 am - 2:30 pm
Pay Rate: $17.00 - $18.50 per hour
Start Date: ASAP

Experience and Skills
Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or equivalent; with proof of completion from a phlebotomy certification program. At least 2 years of recent full-time experience drawing blood. Must be knowledgeable on specimen preparation for laboratory processing. Must possess knowledge of blood-borne pathogens and universal precautions principles. Experience with Microsoft Word & Excel software programs.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: The position requires proof of successful completion from a phlebotomy certification program

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Specimen collection of blood, urine and oral fluid for medical screening and diagnostic purposes; this will include Vivitrol and any grant related projects.
- Completion of requisitions required for processing results; responsible for preparation needed for mailing and processes results via laboratory portal and facsimile.
- Responsible for forwarding results to FGC program physician(s) for review; communicates with nurse managers to ensure medical referrals get processed in a timely manner.
- Responsible for the timely documentation in FGC electronic medical records of the aforementioned responsibilities.
- Accurately maintains logs of all specimen collection(s).
