Job Responsibilities
The Department of History, Humanities and Languages is seeking to fill adjunct philosophy instructor positions for Spring 2024, Summer 2024, and Fall 2024. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, teaching courses at multiple campuses (Berkeley, Dorchester, Mount Pleasant, Palmer, and Thornley) and utilizing Brightspace learning management technology.
Minimum and Additional Requirements
To qualify for these positions, you must have a master's degree in philosophy or a master's degree with 18 graduate semester hours in philosophy. Excellent customer service skill is essential.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior teaching experience is preferred. These positions are responsible for teaching face-to-face Introduction to Philosophy and Ethics courses.
