Job Summary:UK Philanthropy & Alumni Engagement is looking for a qualified candidate to serve as the Associate Director in our Annual Giving office. Reporting to the Director of Annual Giving, the Associate Director is responsible for the managing and directing the operations of the direct mail and email marketing programs for the Annual Giving Office. The incumbent will develop strategies for and execute programs designed to increase participation and dollars raised through Annual Giving by alumni, parents, friends and faculty/staff at UK. This position also serves as point person with colleges and programs with regard to the preparation of materials/reports for their Annual Giving fundraising programs. In addition, the Associate Director will participate in the overall strategic planning, forecasting, and direction of the Annual Giving Program’s goals and objectives; focusing on effective communication and solicitation activities within specific market segments identified as having potential for the greatest growth. This position will provide leadership and supervision of the Annual Giving Phon-a-thon program, including daily supervision of the Philanthropy Assoc Spec-Annual Giving. Responsible for setting goals and metrics for staff and student workers. The Associate Director will work cooperatively as a member of the Annual Giving team to promote a positive work environment and model excellent customer service.
