Responsibilities
- Assist in all Phase II construction and comissioning needs
- Inventories and receiving of equipment and materials
- Operation of mobile equipment
- Maintain SDI Safety protocols on site
- Work directly with contractors
- Learn and train for craning and operating positions of the Phase II Continuous Galv and Paint lines.
Qualifications
- Strong safety record
- Strong mechanical skills
- This position will require the employee to participate in SDI's Respiratory Protection Program. The program requires satisfactory completion of the training curriculum, medical surveillance requirements, and proper fit testing of the respirator which includes complying with a No Facial Hair Policy.
- The medical requirements include satisfactorily performing a pulmonary function exam which evaluates the lung capacity of the employee.
- The entire Paint Line is a No Smoking Area.
