Pharmacy Technician (West Seneca)

Job Description
*Pay Range-$14.20-$14.70*
*Rates of pay are determined by previous experience and labor contract seniority*

Primary Responsibilities Include:

• Providing attentive and friendly customer service
• Retrieving medications from shelves, counting or pouring medications, labeling containers, and pricing prescriptions
• Entering customer data into the computer, keeping accurate records, completing all necessary paperwork relating to the pharmacy
• Maintaining security of all controlled substances; maintaining adequate supplies, stocking pharmacy shelves, placing orders, checking in orders received from suppliers
• Fulfilling general housekeeping duties

Job Requirements
Successful Pharmacy Tech candidates should possess the following qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Ability to maintain a friendly and courteous manner and promote sales through excellent customer service
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math functions
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to operate cash register, pharmacy computer, and pill counter
