Description:
Pharmacy Technician will join a team of 12 in an Infectious Disease specialty pharmacy. The patient population is largely made up of HIV patients, with recurring medications.
Duties:
- Prescription refill reminder calls to patients
- Answering phones from patients and addressing questions
- Assisting with insurance / Medicaid questions
- Handle prior authorizations
- Registering new patients
- Filling scripts
- Packaging and organizing shipments
- Managing inventory of medications
Qualifications:
- Pharmacy Technician License
- 1 year of pharm tech experience
Monday - Friday 8-5
Pay: $20-23/hour
