Pharmacy Technician

Adecco Medical & Science is looking for a Pharmacy Technicianfor our client in Columbia, MD! This job is onsite.

Type:                     Seven-month contract with possibility for extension or full-time offer

Pay:                       $21.68 to 23.68 per hour

Schedule:            10:00AM – 6:30PM Monday – Friday

Location:              Onsite in Columbia, Maryland

Responsibilities of the Pharmacy Technician:

·       Filling prescriptions according to dedicated lot numbers

·       Staging of non compounded medication prior to submission for compounding

·       Filling of non- compound prescriptions to be checked by pharmacists

·       Monitoring for expired lot numbers for medication

·       Supporting daily inventory management for restocking of shelves

Qualifications for the Pharmacy Technician:

·       High School Graduate or GED required

·       Pharm Tech license in Maryland (National Pharm Tech license would also suffice)

·       2 plus years of licensed experience

·       Knowledge of IV medication
